Last night the Hornets won their season opener on the road in Oakland, California against the Golden State Warriors.
A first glance at the box score shows what we all know…Chris Paul is amazing, 21 points, 11 assists, 3 steals and David West is the most underrated player in the NBA…he finished with 24 points and [...]

Is it Over for the Saints?

Yeah, About that…
We may still have nine games left before the NFL regular season comes to an end, but for all intents and purposes, the 2008 season is over for the Saints. Look no further than Sunday’s 30-7 beatdown at the hands of the Carolina Panthers [...]

Hey Hornets
October 14, 2008

If the Hornets are still looking for front court help….and I think they are….why not sign this guy off the scrap heap?
Rafael Araujo
The Hornets worked out Araujo several years ago before the draft.
A 6′11 power forward/center Araujo played in Russia last year and was cut yesterday by the Minnesota Tmberwolves.

Are the Saints Cursed?
October 8, 2008

 By: Keli Fulton, Guest Blogger
Forget the Cubs, it looks like the Saints are the most cursed of all the sports franchises. Okay I know, the Cubs legacy of losing is far longer and the number of colossal collapses are far greater, and curses aren’t usually associated with football, but what has happened to the Saints [...]

Random Thoughts
October 8, 2008

Sorry I haven’t written lately…been busy with the TV work.
Random SAINTS thoughts:
-Why did the Saints not re-sign veteran kicker John Carney after the amazing 2006 season?  BIG MISTAKE!
Olindo Mare was a total disaster last year and now it appears that given Martin Gramatica’s struggles the Saints could be in the market yet again for a [...]

Flynn Throws Himself Into The Job
October 1, 2008

Green Bay – No matter what happens this week, 23-year-old rookie Matt Flynn must anticipate that he will play Sunday for the Green Bay Packers against Atlanta.
Even if starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers recovers in time to start the game, there is always the risk that his strained throwing shoulder will make him ineffective or unable [...]
