Former NFL player Tebucky Jones, a first-round pick of the Patriots in 1998, has been arrested in Connecticut on a variety of charges.

He was charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault, and fourth-degree sexual assault at Mohegan Sun casino on August 1.

Jones spent five years with the Pats.  He was traded to the Saints in 2003 while wearing the franchise tag.  After two seasons with the Saints, he played for the Dolphins in 2005, and re-signed with the Pats in April 2006.  After spending the entire season on injured reserve, Jones was cut in April 2007.

Jones allegedly made inappropriate contact with a woman at the lobby of the casino’s hotel, and then punched her boyfriend in the face.
