Saints Sign A QB

Sean Payton loves to develop quarterbacks and the Saints have signed another one.

Travis Lulay, a 6-2, 216-pound product of Montana State, first signed a professional contract with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted rookie free agent in May of 2006. The Aumsville, Ore. native participated in the Seahawks’ training camps in ’06 and ’07 and played for the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europa in the spring of ’07.

In college, Lulay passed for 10,746 yards and 58 touchdowns and left Montana State as the school’s all-time leading passer.

  1. That is nice how the Saints have signed QB Travis Lulay; I wish the best! Also, I still think the Saints could have drafted Brady Quinn in last year’s draft, when they had the chance.
