Grant Goes Inside

It’s no secret that with the signing of Bobby McCray DE Charles Grant will move inside from end to tackle.

The move will happen due to the fact that McCray has been a super star in camp so far. He consistently gets to the QB and into the backfield to cause havoc.

It’s what new d-line coach Ed Orgeron and head coach Sean Payton want. They want players on the line making plays. Moving Grant to the starting inside spot opposite Sedrick Ellis will give New Orleans one of the more balance, athletic d-lines in the NFC South.

Grant has lost a step – that showed last season. Playing inside he can still be used to blitz the passer, but his quickness and size inside with be a compliment to Ellis.

  1. Grant will do well as tackle.

  2. Thanks to you I do not seem like an idiot. I had a disagreement with my wife and this shows I was right. Thanks!
