Amazing Hornets Trade!

I have to say, I’ve proposed several trades for the Hornets in an effort to help the team find some offensive consistency.

If you scroll down you can read all the trades I’ve suggested.

Late last night I got a call from a Hornets fan telling me to look at

There I found a trade suggestion that I think is amazing.

Outgoing Players: Tyrus Thomas, Ben Gordon, Michael Ruffin

The Hornets would get a starting shooting guard in Ben Gordon and a back up big man (with ties to Louisiana) in Tyrus Thomas.  Thomas has given the Bulls fits with his attitude so a change of scenery and a strong head coach like Byron Scott would probably do him some good.  Ben Gordon is a free agent so Chicago has to move him or they’ll lose him for nothing this summer.

The struggling Bulls, a team going no where this season, get a lottery pick who’s from Chicago (JuJu Wright) and two decent veterans who won’t be a headache for new coach Vinny Del Negro.

This season the deal benefits the Hornets but if  Wright turns out to be a special player than Chicago comes out okay.  The Hornets could also sweeten the pot with a 1st round draft pick or two if necessary.

  1. I can see this trade working out. Rasual butler is inconsistent. juju and mopete are struggling. we get the shooting guard in gordon that we always wanted (although he is banged up). it could def work.

  2. This would be a good trade! 😀

  3. I agree on these outgoing players, Outgoing Players: Rasual Butler, Julian Wright, Morris Peterson, but I would also add a few of those bench warmers to that list as well. I really like Leandro Barbosa(G), Ben Gorden(G), Nate Robinson(G)(maybe), Marcus Camby(C), and Tyrus Thomas(C). (Word on the street is Dirk Nowitzki will take a pay cut to get on a playoff bound team!!!)

  4. i doubt the hornets will be interested in dirk. they would prly have to give up tyson, peja and another player. i rather have more bench depth.
