Saints Sign 2 Running Backs

The signing of these two big backs helps easy the pain of selecting a punter in the 5th round of the NFL draft.

I like both of these guys and think one of them will make the team!

Saints Sign Herb Donaldson

5’11, 225

Western Illinois University

Herb Donaldson doesn’t have the greatest speed in the world, but his size and production make up for it. He rushed for an amazing 328 yards and six touchdowns against Indiana State on Nov. 4. Think his lacking competition is the reason he compiled 1,417 yards in 2006? He gained 4.1 yards per carry at Wisconsin earlier in the season.

MADISON (WKOW) — P.J. Hill has finally found a home.  He’s heading to the big easy.

According to our conversation with Hill’s agent tonight, the former badger running back has agreed to a three-year deal with the New Orleans Saints.

Hill went undrafted this past weekend — possibly due in part to his DUI on March 16th.

But tonight Hill signs a three-year contract with New Orleans.

Hill rushed for 3,942 yards as a Badger.  He finished 3rd on Wisconsin’s all-time rushing list.
