Speed 6

Thanks for logging on to Offsides With Fletcher Mackel.  I hope you enjoyed this week’s Speed 6 Segment. In case you missed it, here is the Trivia Question:

“The opening scene to what movie was filmed at the Atlanta Motor Speedway?”

The first person to post their correct answer on Fletcher’s Blog will be selected to be a guest on Speed 6 next week and help breakdown last weekend’s race and give us their race picks for Richmond.

  1. Great job with the interview about the Pocono’s race! It was definitely a different race then we have seen in earlier years. The track was fast, furious and no driver was safe due to the slickness of the track. The drivers that finished in the top 12 had to claw and fight for every lap to get to the front and stay there. It was definitely one of the more exciting races this far in the season with every driver fighting for every point to get them that much closer for the race to the championship chase.

Can’t wait for this weeks race at Watkins Glen. There is usually more excitement toward the end of the road course, just bescause of the physical demand the course has on the driver and their cars. Should also be a fun race to watch.

As much as it pains me, as I am a Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan also….I do not expect him to do well at this track.

  2. Smokey and the Bandit 2 starts at AMS

  3. I got the answer correct on Wednesday and still have not been contacted by either Fletcher or Andy. Am I really going to be on Speed 6? Maybe you could just send me a Speed 6 t-shirt or something if you won’t really invite me on.
